Iced Lavender Matcha Latte

Aug 4, 2020 · Classic · recipes

We promise this will be your new go to matcha latte. There is nothing quite as addicting as a lavender matcha latte. We've tried many ways of infusing the lavender flavour into the the latte and the best way, by far, is to make a simple syrup using fresh lavender. It's really simple!

lavender matcha latte recipe

The florals of lavender and earthiness of matcha create the most delicious balance of flavours. It’s by far our team’s favourite latte flavour and we’re positive you’ll love it too.

Whipping up a batch of lavender syrup takes just a few minutes and it will stay fresh in your fridge for a week. You can use it in place of sweetener in your lattes, but also give it try it in cocktails or lemonade, on pancakes and sundaes.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp lavender
  • 1 cup of sugar (we like raw cane or coconut sugar)

Method

Bring all ingredients just to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain out the lavender. We find it easiest to use a metal sieve to strain it. Press the syrup out of the lavender gently with the back of a spoon. Store in the fridge.

Stir your desired amount of syrup to your iced matcha latte.

This is the most amazing summer treat!
