If you haven't made tea popsicles before, you're missing out on a delicious healthy treat! Pick up some popsicle molds and try this super easy recipe. We used Red Paradise for this one, a fruit tea made by one of our featured tea blenders from our Monthly Box - Tea Geek'ery. Red Paradise is an all-organic sweet and tangy herbal tea made with blueberries, mango, hibiscus and lemongrass. It's perfect for popsicles.
INGREDIENTS
- Red Paradise tea (or another fave Amoda tea)
- Your preferred sweetener. We like organic cane sugar.
- Berries or sliced fresh fruit
DIRECTIONS
Steep a pot of tea! Sweeten if up a little more than you would if you were going to drink it. Put it in the fridge to cool it down. Alternatively, you can cold steep it overnight or steep it double strength and pour it over ice. (Here's our iced tea instructions)
Pour the cooled tea liquid into popsicle molds and pop them in the freezer until their slushy. Give it a stir so the sweetener doesn't end up in the tip of the popsicle and add fresh fruit.
