Recipe: Easy Pumpkin Spice Granola [GF/V]

Granola is one of life's simple pleasure! It's easy to make at home and so customizable. It fills your home with amazing aromas and provides that little something extra that takes your breakfasts to the next level.

After making your own granola, you'll never go back to store bought. You can customize the ingredients to your own preference - any of the nuts, seeds, dried fruit and spices that you like and the sweetness level that suits you the best.

The version below is honestly the best granola we've ever had. Using just a tablespoon or 2-3 sachets of our Pumpkin Spice Turmeric blend, we're totally in love with the outcome.

2 cups gluten free oats
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup shredded coconut
2 tablespoons hemp hearts
Small handful of raw walnuts, broken up
1 tablespoon Pumpkin Spice Turmeric
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons maple syrup
3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
2 tablespoons coconut sugar

Preheat oven to 300ºF. Mix together the oats, nuts, seeds, coconut, Pumpkin Spice Turmeric and salt. Separately, mix the maple syrup, melted coconut oil and sugar together and pour evenly over the oat mixture. Stir together until evenly coated. Spread out over two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.  Bake for 35 minutes, moving the granola once during baking. Your granola should come out golden brown.

This version is based on a Sweetly Raw's recipe.
