Working on your fitness this year? Give those hard-working muscles some TLC with this mango turmeric smoothie! Turmeric, known for its amazing anti-inflammatory benefits, is paired with coconut water to keep you hydrated + replenish electrolytes, and protein powder help you feel your best post-workout!
RECIPE
- 1 tsp Amoda Golden Turmeric
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 cup frozen mango
- small chunk of ginger
- juice of half a lime
- a few ice cubes
- a serving of your fave vanilla/unflavoured protein powder
Throw all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Prefer a smoothie bowl? Use half the amount of coconut water to create a thicker consistency. Don't forget to add your favourite toppings! We like adding toasted coconut flakes and granola.
