From your morning matcha to happy hour, this Matcha Pina Colada will transport you to a tropical paradise anytime of day. We added our own twist to this classic Summertime drink with a sachet of our Matcha Latte Blend, a coconut matcha latte blend loaded with glowy-skin ingredients like tremella mushroom, tocos, and amla.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup full fat coconut milk
- 1/4 cup coconut water
- 1 heaping cup frozen pineapple
- juice of 1/2 a lime
- handful of ice
- 1 sachet of Amoda Matcha Latte Blend OR 1-2 tsp Amoda Japanese Matcha
- Optional: maple syrup or sweetener to taste
METHOD
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender, and blend on high until combined. If desired, add maple syrup or your choice of sweetener to taste.
Pour into a chilled glass, garnish with a slice of lime and enjoy.
CUSTOMIZE IT!
Make it boozy: Add a shot of your favourite coconut rum.
Enjoy post-workout: skip the rum and add a scoop of your fave protein powder (vanilla or coconut flavoured protein powder works really well here!)
Make it a smoothie bowl: Use less coconut water (add 1 tbsp at a time as needed). Top with granola, more fruit, and toasted coconut flakes.
